Ingredients

Brownies

  • 1 (15.25-oz) box strawberry cake mix

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup melted butter

  • 1 teaspoon strawberry extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


    Glaze

  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 2 tablespoons strawberry preserves

  • 1 tablespoon milk

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8 inch square cake pan with parchment paper. Set aside.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, melted butter, strawberry extract, and vanilla extract. Stir in strawberry cake mix and salt. Spread the batter into prepared pan.

  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out with only a few moist crumbs. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.

Glaze

  1. Whisk together the powdered sugar, strawberry preserves, and milk in a small bowl. Pour the glaze over the cooled brownies.

  2. Place the brownies in the fridge for about 30 minutes, then cut into slices. Garnish with fresh strawberries if desired. Enjoy!
