This pretty broccoli, grape, and pasta salad is a colorful and refreshing salad that pairs fresh broccoli with tender bowtie pasta. The addition of grapes, toasted pecans, and crunchy crumbled bacon, dressed in a delightful tangy dressing make it a great mix of savory and sweet flavors.

Ingredients

1 cup chopped pecans
1 lb. fresh broccoli florets
1 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup diced red onion
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon kosher salt
8 oz. bow tie pasta, cooked (1/2 of a 16 0z package)
2 cups seedless red grapes, cut in half
8 cooked bacon slices, crumbled
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 F. Bake pecans in a single layer on a small baking sheet 5 to 7 minutes until lightly toasted and fragrant, stirring halfway through baking.

Prepare pasta according to package directions.

Make sure broccoli florets are cut into bite-sized pieces.

In a large bowl, whisk together the next 4 ingredients to make the dressing.

Add broccoli, cooked pasta, and grapes, then stir well to coat.

Cover and chill for 3 hours. Stir the bacon and pecans into the salad just before serving.
